Privacy notice

What KinPay Learn collects, why, who can see it and how long we keep it — in plain words.

Who operates KinPay Learn

KinPay Learn is the education and support site operated by KinPay. KinPay is responsible for the information described in this notice. KinPay does not lend money, find lenders or guarantee repayment — KinPay Learn is educational and is not legal, financial or debt advice.

You can reach us about anything on this page at support@kinpay.me.

What information we collect

You can read every article on KinPay Learn without giving us any personal information.

We collect information in three situations:

  • when you send us a support request,
  • when you search the site or tell us whether an article helped,
  • automatically, as basic technical information needed to serve the site securely.

Support form information

When you submit the support form we store what you enter, which can include:

  • your name and contact email address,
  • the email address on your KinPay account, if you give it,
  • your country and preferred reply method, and a phone number if you choose that method,
  • the category, product, subject and description of your request,
  • any error message, reference, page or timestamp you provide,
  • the device and browser you describe, and
  • your confirmation that we may use the information to answer you.

Each request is given a ticket reference so we can find it again. Please do not include passwords, full card numbers or one-time codes in the form.

Attachments

Files you attach to a support request are stored in private storage that is not publicly reachable. Support staff open them through short-lived signed links that only work for signed-in staff. Attachments are deleted together with the request they belong to.

Technical information

Our hosting and email providers process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser user agent, request time and delivery status. This is used to serve pages, deliver email, prevent abuse and rate-limit form submissions. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party advertising cookies on KinPay Learn.

Search analytics

We record what people search for on KinPay Learn, how many results were returned, and whether a result was opened. This tells us where our answers are missing. Search records are not linked to a named person or a KinPay account; where a session identifier is used it is random and short-lived.

Article feedback

When you answer “Did this help?” we store your yes or no, the article it relates to, and anything you type in the optional follow-up box. Please do not include personal details in that box — use the support form instead if you need an answer.

Why we process this information

  • To answer your support request and keep a record of what was agreed.
  • To keep the site available, secure and free from abuse.
  • To understand which answers are missing or unclear, and improve them.
  • To meet record-keeping obligations that apply to us.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run KinPay Learn. They process information on our instructions only:

  • a managed database, authentication and file-storage provider,
  • a hosting and content-delivery provider, and
  • a transactional email provider, which sends support mail from notify.kinpay.us.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.

Access controls

Support requests, attachments and internal notes are only reachable by signed-in KinPay staff with an assigned role. The public website cannot query them. Internal notes written by staff are never shown to the person who raised the ticket or to anyone else outside KinPay.

How long we keep information

  • Support requests and their attachments: kept while the case is open, then for a limited retention period so we can handle follow-up questions and disputes.
  • Support email logs: kept for the same period as the request they belong to.
  • Search and feedback records: kept in aggregate form for content planning.

Retention periods are configured centrally and reviewed periodically. When a period ends the record is deleted or irreversibly reduced to non-identifying form.

Deletion

You can ask us to delete a support request you sent. Email support@kinpay.me with the ticket reference. We may need to keep a minimal record that a request existed and was closed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to some processing. We will respond to any such request and explain what we can and cannot do.

To make a request, email support@kinpay.me and tell us what you are asking for.

International processing

Our providers may process information in more than one country, including outside your own. Where that happens we rely on the provider's contractual data-protection terms. If you need the current list of providers and processing locations for a specific request, contact us and we will provide it.

Security

KinPay Learn is served over HTTPS. Support data is protected by row-level access rules in the database, private file storage, role-based staff access and signed short-lived links for attachments. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so we also limit what we collect and how long we keep it. If you believe you have found a security issue, email support@kinpay.me with “security” in the subject line.
